Designer Dupes

I’m all for spending a little more on quality pieces, but it just doesn’t make sense to me to drop a lot of cash on pricey items that we know are either 1. trendy and likely to go out of style shortly or 2. just aren’t the most practical. Tonight I’m excited to share two of my most recent favorite designer dupe finds.

Bamboo Bag

This bag started popping up on tons of bloggers sites at the beginning of summer and I immediately looked into getting one.  But the price tag on the designer version knocked the wind right out of me! The more I thought about it the more I knew there was no way even I (the master of justification) could talk myself into dropping the cash on this one. Especially because it definitely falls into the #2 category from above: as much as I love the look of this one, it’s simply not the most practical.

BUT I started doing a little digging and found quite a few versions that looked nearly identical for a small fraction of the price!  I ended up going with this version I found on Ebay. The price was right, it shipped quickly and it’s good quality!

Pearl Slides

These pearl slides are adorable and have been popping up all over my feed! Now the Steve Madden version isn’t outrageously priced at $69, but it was a bit too much for my budget. I was beyond excited to find a Target version for under $25! I obviously scooped up the Target version and am loving them!

I’m always on the look out for quality knockoffs, so be sure to check back for Designer Dupes-Second Edition!
